Hi, I’m Tristan!

Unschooling mom to three, lover of nature and beautiful things, and Jane of all trades.

I am intrigued by things like the human mind and child development. The science behind how people learn. An avid reader, I am either reading something NSFW or some sort of research that has been done on any number of topics regarding self-directed education, chronic illness, self improvement, or child development. I also really, really love animals and am a dog fosterer and wanna-be wildlife rehabilitator.

I have done a lot of things in my life but being a mother is the thing I am most proud of. It has pushed me out of my comfort zones and made me grow in so many ways.

As a mom, I have found that my priorities are constantly shifting as the needs of my children fluctuate. Some days we are able to spend an entire day with minimal challenges and others, well, if you are a parent, you know what I mean.

Having the flexibility to be home with my kids is not only a privilege, but it is also a blessing that I am deeply grateful for each and every day. Being able to witness their growth, guide them through their educational journey, and be there for them in every step is an invaluable experience that I wouldn't trade for anything in the world. However, as a parent who follows the unschooling philosophy, finding a job that aligns with our lifestyle and allows me to balance work and family commitments can sometimes feel like searching for a needle in a haystack. That's why I have made the decision to take matters into my own hands and forge my own way in the professional world. With a plethora of skills and a portfolio that boasts satisfied clients who can vouch for my abilities, I am confident that I can create a fulfilling career that not only supports my family but also embraces the essence of unschooling and nurtures the unique needs and passions of my children.

You get a passionate, loyal, and dependable professional and I get to keep on raising these beautiful humans. It’s a win win.
